Popular Post worldview
I have lived in Thailand for twenty years, and I have seen very little, if any, attempt to seriously tackle corruption - I suspect that if I would go away for the next twenty years, that I would be reading the same headline upon my return?? ????

No benefit whatsoever to Australian expats. We are still at the back of the line. And I am skeptical where that money will end up. Will it all be used as intended by Australian government? yet another Country helping Thailand with its Vaccine program. Why ? Thailand is the 21 st richest Country on the Planet. But they do seem to have some issues with running the Country correctly, so maybe thats the reason why.

The corruption here is worst at the top, then it slowly trickles down. First thing to do, is rid the country of those at the top, then hopefully the corruption will cease, or at least decrease. Classic Ray
Three point plan for starters: 1. Independently witnessed destruction of seized drugs to prevent return to the market. 2. Prohibition of owning/running businesses by police officers, armed forces, and government officials, and independent investigation of their assets. 3. Effective investigation and prosecution of air pollution offenders, especially agricultural conglomerates and large commercial vehicle operators. it’s alright, I know I’m dreaming.
