The Thai government has reiterated its commitment to tackling corruption, an issue which it says remains a national priority.

6 years and counting, nothings happened since the General took office.

Last week, the President of National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) Police General Watcharapol Prasarnrajkit told the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) that Thailand remains committed to working to prevent and combat corruption.

Did he say that with a straight face or was he wearing on of these suits ????????

Is this some kind of joke????? Government committed to tackling corruption,????????

The corruption here is worst at the top, then it slowly trickles down.

First thing to do, is rid the country of those at the top, then hopefully the corruption will cease, or at least decrease.

My thought exactly but I am not holding my breath: we've been there before.

Just transfer the title deed at the land office this week, and guess....the officer like to get 3000 thb red tape money.

This country is lost, and it will never change, from low to high, it sitting in the genes of the Thai

Three point plan for starters:

1. Independently witnessed destruction of seized drugs to prevent return to the market.

2. Prohibition of owning/running businesses by police officers, armed forces, and government officials, and independent investigation of their assets.

3. Effective investigation and prosecution of air pollution offenders, especially agricultural conglomerates and large commercial vehicle operators.

it’s alright, I know I’m dreaming.

Compared to the typical government ministers, the "working girls" of this country seem like models of rectitude.

Great news, so safe to assume Anutin is to be investigated and the official who went to Cambodian casino, skipped quarantine on return, went to Thonglor brothel and started latest wave has been charged and will be spending the rest of his life in jail?

They did not specify "which" corruption they intend to tackle....  Corruption comes in many forms, and surely the most pressing form is the one which is not under their control.....

Nearly fell off my chair laughing when I read this,,????  total lies again to please the UN,

Bums on fire statement again, didn't he say the same thing when taking over the country at the point of a gun, 7 years ago and now by his own admission nothing has been done but got worse.

20 more years of this and it won't be a 3 place drop it will be 30.

Part of the social and cultural fabric~start at the top, and stop selecting cases by political agenda and personal vendettas

Commitment to fight corruption.  But not if you got big ears and hide assets or a fat corrupt watch man. Or a ugly bint chicken farmer
