There seems to be a policy of "out of sight, out of mind " with anything to do with the Prisons

First up I commend yourself and other poster that you quoted.

Sadly I think your statement quoted above pretty much sums it up

I've mentioned it once, but I'll do so again for your benefit guys. There is a policy in place to vaccinate all those within the prison system. You can read the details here.

Post-Jab Deaths Resulted from Chronic Diseases

BANGKOK, June 17 (TNA) – A director of the Department of Disease Control said 68 people died after receiving COVID-19 vaccines and it was concluded that 13 of the fatalities did not result from the vaccination but were related to chronic diseases.

Dr Chawetsan Namwat, director of a division on disease control and emergency health hazards, said that since Feb 28, 7,003,783 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered.

“A team of experts from 13 areas in Thailand considered post-inoculation fatalities to find if any case was related to a vaccine.

So 55 were attributed to the vaccination?, side effect?

Well that is a high number. Apart from that he quotes 7 million doses of vaccinations, other government sites quote around 4.7 million so clearly quoting any fictional figure is perfectly acceptable to these numb nuts that masquerade as professional people.

Had a read. Found it unremarkable.

In any event, don't believe one thing that comes out of Thai officials. Nice pic though.

Government considering sending security officials to oversee Bangkok’s construction sites

The Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) mentioned today that it is considering sending in security officials, police and military officers, to oversee construction worker housing facilities, as one of the stricter measures to deal with the current outbreak.

The military camps, navy and army are another pandoras box of potential infections that they would like to keep under wraps. The only reason we found out about the major prison outbreaks were because of the high profile cases going public. Thats not likely to happen with the military.

"According to CCSA Assistant Spokeswoman Dr. Apisamai Srirangsan, a new cluster was discovered at the Nava Supply School of the Royal Thai Navy, in Bang Na district of Bangkok, with 37 infections being reported to date."

So they are already supplying the virus themselves directly from the supply school, very nice to share.

CCSA assistant spokeswoman Dr. Apisamai Srirangsan said the ministry proposed that the “sandbox” model be expanded to Bangkok, Chon Buri, Krabi (including the Phi Phi islands), Buri Ram, Chiang Mai, Surat Thani (Samui Island), Phang Nga, Phetchaburi (Cha Am) and Prachuap Khiri Khan (Hua Hin) if it is successful in Phuket. The CCSA will consider the proposal to extend the “sandbox” scheme at its meeting on Friday.

Meanwhile, she said the Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration's (CCSA) sub-committee has asked the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) to revise the COVID-19 control plan, proposed for its Phuket tourism “sandbox” program, due to kick off on July 1.

Dr. Apisamai said the sub-committee is concerned about public understanding of the tourism program's COVID-19 safety measures, which may still worry many people as to what action will be taken in the event of new infections. So the province has agreed to improve public understanding about the COVID-19 safety measures, which will be implemented when the Phuket tourism “sandbox” program begins.

Yes it must be very worrying that dirty, fully vaccinated ai Farang will spread covid-19 throughout the local community that is only 30% vaccinated with one of the least effective vaccines.

142 cases in Chonburi, the highest since 3rd May.

As I mentioned in an earlier post that this could possibly happen, after you posted location where people who had visited need to be checked.  We have been saying now for a long time that they need to test outside of known areas and do random testing to actually identify how far out this may be and to get ahead of the patterns.  Most people are creatures of habit and only go in certain circles and visit certain locations, however the vendors travel far and wide as to business owners in order to obtain their goods.  It does not take much, just like the initial Samut Sakhon spread of folks traveling to get seafood at a certain set of fresh markets.
