Channel 3 missing

Featured Replies

Hi, my Thai girlfriend tells me that for the past few days she can't watch any of her fav channels for "movies" such as CH3. The sat box is in Thai so I'm unable to talk her through a rescan, but does anyone know if some channels have changed freq or is something else the reason for the missing? channels.

Thanks in advance kdev

Had the same problem today.  Checked another TV on a different PSI box and CH3 was working.  Did a reboot of the TV and associated PSI box and everything went back to normal.

Same problem here - no Ch 3 (and some other channels, by the look of it) - this on a GMM-Z (satellite dish) box. Tried "rebooting", using the remote and pressing 9988, which is supposed to reboot the signal(s) to the box. No change after this attempt - still missing the channels. No problem with the same type of box in our other house - all channels working. Weird ......

Anyone have a work-around?

Could be that the  receiver or LNB is not switching polarity...you could try taking the not working box and connecting it to the other house  dish..which would at least rule out the box

( if it works there)..then suspect the cable-dish-LNB
