is there any web site maintained to see rules for entering Phuket from other Thai provinces 

- Hotel told me for Phuket airport, proof of vaccination ( ie Astra 1 shot ) and PCR test 72 hrs

 

but for Driving ? 

 

When we crossed the bridge in early June, they just wanted a Rapid or PCR for anyone person above 5 years old ( and did not even really read our test results when passing check point )

I've read by land - fully vaccinated or 1 AZ  AND a negative PCR test 72 hours before arriving until  August 2 at the moment, keep watching for changes !

Vaccinated AND tested, unless you are able to prove you live in Phuket (see blue box in lower right corner of graphic) then it's just vaccinated OR tested.

Note: graphic doesn't contain the update where only tests taken within 72 hours of entry are accepted, within 7 days is no longer accepted.

Also, just a general comment.  These are the rules that are in effect, your individual experience when passing through the check-point may be different.  Specifically, it may not be as strict or rigorous.  But it really kills me to see people posting (not necessarily in this particular thread), something like "no problem, they don't really check anything."  These are rules that they can check for, whether they do or don't at a particular moment really doesn't make a lot of difference does it?  Maybe I just don't understand the gambling mentality, but I wouldn't relish making a long trip to Phuket just to be turned away because I'm surprised that they are actually checking things that they announced beforehand they would be checking.  ????
