The hold out anti-vaxxers are not significant in Thailand. A small minority in a minority. They won't really affect the spread of COVID since most people will eventually be vaccinated. Same phenomenon that evangelical religious use to reinforce the beliefs of their missionaries. If you are challenged or "persecuted" it just confirms that you are right and you must stand up for your beliefs. Self-righteous and delusional. Good luck if you are infected. 2

There you see anti-vaxxers posting all the same <deleted> as you see here. Then comes the payoff as they or their families post about how they are suffering (really suffering) from COVID. And then.... drumroll please... they die, and their family tells everyone how great they were and starts a gofundme for hospital and funeral expenses.

Nearly every anti-vaxxer argument is in the list of logical fallacies I learned in high school. Smoking and obesity are difficult public health problems with multiple contributing causes that are not easily solved. Anti-smoking campaigns have had some success only after decades of effort. Blaming the smokers and obese people is no solution. If you can solve those problems stay by the phone, you can expect a call from the Nobel committee. A better comparison is seatbelt wearing. Compulsory seatbelt use has saved lives in the USA. One simple behavior, not complex. Introduction of seatbelt laws met the same childish "personal liberty" silliness that anti-vaxxers spout. "You will be trapped in your car if you wear a seatbelt." never happens. Really tiresome how the anti-vaxxers constantly recycle the same stupid arguments. 3

IMO that's silly, and we are all entitled to get what we paid for ( taxes ). However I have no problem with those that choose to be unvaccinated being denied ICU/ intubation etc. As I has a signed DNR order I would not be admitted to ICU anyway. If we deny the unvaccinated admission to hospital then those that smoke tobacco, are obese from overeating bad food, participate in risky sports etc should also be denied public hospital admission. Once more traditional versions of the vaccine are universally available I'm sure that any that would take the flu jab will also get the traditional version of the covid vaccine. NB, traditional versions are not yet available everywhere.
