A senior sergeant major attached to the Bang Poo police has been temporarily stripped of his position as an inquiry into his behavior is mounted.

The order came from the chief of the Samut Prakan police Pol Maj-Gen Chumphon Phumphuang and refers to Adisorn, 44.

It is effective from August 4th.

The incident featured a pick-up cutting in front of a Civic in Prawet district in Bangkok with one man jumping onto the roof of the car and threatening the occupants with a sword and another apparently holding a gun.

INN suggested that the man on the roof was the policeman. Earlier reports suggested he was the man with the gun and that the other man was an employee of the policeman's at a fish farm.

The case involves more than just road rage with embezzlement, extortion and abduction being investigated.

The cop has thirty days to appeal.

The incident happened last Wednesday, July 28th.

My uncle-in-law is a Thai policeman, when he got in big trouble he was reassigned to a different part of the country and faced a hefty fine.

What's his past offenses ! Does he have  a history of being  off the wall . Is this his first time getting caught !

First timers should be given a reprieve !

Fine him 1 months salary and make him pay for all the damage he caused !

Lastly a apology is due ,to make him lose face

Dismissed and prosecuted

Not sure yet, why are his superiors not suspended yet? Such behavior does not appear overnight.

The cop has thirty days to wriggle out of it with begs of favours.

The cop has thirty days to threaten the Civic driver to drop charges.

.

And probably time enough to pay off his superiors as well. Should get the same treatment as a dog with rabies.
