Featured Replies

Just rode past the big new construction sth of Karon plaza on the beach rd,  saw 2 ambulances and 7 or 8 people either side of the road in white disposable coveralls, taped at the ankles and wrists, gloves, full head covers with mask underneath!!

Likely a workers camp, and testing being carried out.

Haven't seen them dressed like that anywhere when testing with ambulances on standby.

Funny enough I saw one ambulance with about 3 staff exactly as you described ushering a couple of women into the said ambulance today, Saturday, and that was in Patong, a bit south of the big Cristal massage place, a few people watching on...., my best guess would be they tested positive or been with people who tested positive and traced , the ladies looked a bit distressed....!

God forbid if they ever have to deal with Ebola here, this virus is not even fully airborne or go through the skin...., it must go through respatory route only....!

Why should they risk being infected?

PPE suits completely normal for such an occasion where there is a good chance to find infected people.
