Try NKP - much more diverse and generally a healthier provincial financial/business climate.

I like NK, cool place.

Never been to Ubon, got a friend there tho that enjoys it.

Nothing much in Mukdahan.

Always enjoyed Nong Khai nice folks which can be said about Udon T, Ubon & Mukdahan as well.  If it were me Nong Khai just a personal preference. Bored with NK take a trip to Udon T not too far.

Oh ! I so miss Soi Falang  ! UD and points south after this is over

NKP is Nakhon Panom. Is that correct? Nice place, but I didn't think it would be a great financial and business place. Fill me in.

Ok Ubon, Udon, Nong Khai or Mukdahan for a month when covid is over.

Which is it?

Personally, I would go to Udon Thani as it has everything I need, rail station for those coming by train, bus station for those coming by bus, plenty of shops in Central Plaza which is central to the rail and bus stations, lots of strip shops, bars and massage places, hospitals, parks with lakes etc., you can also take a drive to Nong Khai as we do for lunch as it's only an hour or so away, and if your really keen, get a re-entry visa and scoot off over to Laos for a few days at the border at Nong Khai.

It all depends what your looking for and what you want to do in that month ?
