Non-o retirement

Featured Replies

Hi

If i will start the process of renewing my

non-o retirement  40 days before it will expire.

Am i going to lose 40 days or they will continue it from the original date?

Thanks

You do not lose any days if you do your extension of stay application early. The new extension will start from the day your current one ends.

Assuming you mean your extension of stay you don't renew so much as apply for a new one.  If that is the case, you will not lose any days as your new extension of stay will start from the day your old one expires.

Your new extension will start on the day your current one ends.

Always a good idea to do it early.

OP, do note that currently at CW You can only apply for new extension max 3 days prior to expiry. Yes crazy.

Immigration division one posted a notice on Facebook yesterday evening that states up to 45 day is allowed now and they are open on Saturdays.

At which immigration office? Please note that most offices won't consider annual extension of stay applications submitted more than 30 days in advance of the current permission to stay expiring. As already said, though, Chaengwattana (Bangkok) are (once again) prepared to consider applications submitted up to 45 days beforehand - as, I believe, are also Chiang Mai.

Phuket also accepts up to 45 days in advance.
