Just saw some posts on Facebook of a huge fire on Walking Steet.  Looks bad.

Maybe someone knew it wasn't going to open anytime soon and took some action prior to their current policy expiring.

It will be hard to tell with an inferno that big....

Seems like more than one blaze happening from the vids I've seen, is that pic Bali Hai or or further up the street ?

The Youtube vids are starting to come in, just search "Walking Street Fire".

Thailand's hottest nightlife now is on 'Firewalking Street'.

looks like someone has given up upon re-opening and is trying the insurance route instead ????

You'll be surprised how many bars and nightclubs are now insured for a surprisingly large sum.

The fire appears to be in the Nashaa Club building, which has an Uzbekistan restaurant on the bottom floor. It's on the South part, water side, of Walking Street, just past soi 16..

It's official, this is another sign of Pattaya's obvious impending apocalypse.  Famine (for the homeless/out of work), flooding, plague (Covid), ocean opening up and swallowing up Jomtien's Beach Road, and now fire.

Same story is being discussed in the News sub-forum:
