PHUKET: Confusion over what extra COVID tests required for Sandbox tourists to travel ‘freely’ to other Sandbox tourism locations has thrown an 11-week holiday by a retired Canadian couple into jeopardy.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Doctors in Thailand have been given the go-ahead to start giving COVID-19 booster shots under the skin, rather than injecting them into muscles, officials said on Monday, in an effort to strengthen immunity and stretch vaccine supplies.

Restrictions on foreign residents’ land ownership in Thailand to remain

Long-staying foreigners can own at most 49% of a condominium building and cannot own land in Thailand, but can rent land on a long-term basis under a special law, such as the Thai investment law for investing in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) mega-project, said Deputy Government Spokesperson Ms. Traisuree Traisoranakul Monday.

Phuket marks 237 new COVID cases, five more deaths

PHUKET: A Phang Nga man has been arrested and brought to Phuket to face charges for stealing telephone and communications cables across the island and selling them for scrap near his home in Thai Muang District in Phang Nga.

Father and son in Suphanburi die from Covid on the same day

Daily News reported that they were contacted by the abbot of Wat Theraplai in Suphanburi Phra Khru Phisutthirattanaporn who told them that they would be holding a cremation ceremony today for a father and his son who died on the same day from Covid-19.

FDA Needs Info on Sinopharm Vaccine Use in Children

Chinese man mixed up in ATK import scam arrested in Bangkok with fake stamps in passport

Acting on a tip from an informant immigration police in Bangkok and colleagues from the human trafficking police went to Bang Bon in western Bangkok where they arrested a 31 year old Chinese national.

Bangkok can only reopen with fewer new COVID infections, cases in hospital, 70%+ vaccination

Thailand ranks second in ASEAN for most COVID-19 jabs, sixth for two-dose percentage

Thailand is ranked second to Indonesia among ASEAN member countries for the number of COVID-19 inoculations, with a total of 44,742,049 doses administered by September 20th, but ranks fifth for the percentage of population receiving first doses, and sixth for the percentage of people receiving two doses.

Thai Government Decides to Raise Public Debt Ceiling to 70% of GDP

Thai Chamber of Commerce Requires Specific Law to Facilitate New Economic Zone
