He stated .....

"as far I had a Covid-19 extentions visas every two months"

He means that he has been obtaining covid extensions.

He won't have a current visa.

He can obtain another covid extension prior to expiry of his current extension (soon).

After that he will be able to obtain another extension as their availability will be extended.

Ok, to the OP, what "visa" were you on?

I would never stay in Thailand with a COVID extension because I already know that soon immigration will be bored about that and obviously this extension opportunity will not be forever and they will stop granting it but of course there are many farangs that are taking advantage from that

What the heck is this thread about.

Obtain a 60 day covid extension.

Currently available till late Nov.

That will be extended.

Meaning you can obtain another covid extension late Jan.

That gives stay untill approx late March.

Wow that would be awesome! For all nationalities? Last time I had to bribe them XD for extending

Just for clarity.

No one on AseanNow cares about your nationality.

However how you entered Thailand and stating your nationality makes advice more accurate.

You'll be fine. Go to immigration beofre 14 November and get another 60 days Covid extension. This will get you till mid january 2022.

You can apply for Covid extensions until 26th of this month. It might get extended, but I doubt it this time.

So, tomorrow I'm going to the immigration early morning and let's see

Which immigration office.

Reason I ask is that if your in Bangkok where you obtain covid extension depends on your entry to Thailand.

Visa exempt or ...whatever.

Think I asked that earlier.

I don't know. You're opening a whole can of problems if you keep the Covid extensions up while the country is opening up for tourists.

We'll see, all is just speculation anyways.

Nup.

They would have announced it in definite terms by now that "get out of Dodge" by Nov 27 is essential.

Your correct in that it's all speculation.

My guess is when some land borders open then covid extensions done and buried.

That won't happen this year IMO

Unless you have the wrong skin colour, it is very unlikely that the police (even the immigration officials) will actually detain you for a short overstay under normal circumstances, though it absolutely could happen. Usually, they will make clear that they are aware of your status, and tell you to leave via the airport as soon as possible.

sorry, but that is just plain wrong. If you get caught on any overstay you will be hauled off to the immigration detention center, and then deported with a blacklist.

They have a real hardon for overstayers
