  • Perhaps if your bike made less annoying (and pointless) noise, they would treat you better ?

As a resident of this planet, and Phuket in particular I am sick and tired of the total disregard and immature ego's of men who see the (immature want) or need to make their bikes as loud (seemingly)

OP - I guess that you are a teenager?   If or when you grow up you will realise what a selfish antisocial idiot you are, but will no doubt find some other way to annoy those around you!

Good to hear , u riding here in Phuket ? . .

Yes

OP - when you come to Phuket and want to impress people I suggest you cruise along Thawewong Road (a.k.a. Beach Road) in the early afternoon. No need for an uncool crash helmet, and give it the beans as you go past Thanon Bangla.

... also, the ride from Patong to Kathu over the infamous "Patong Hill" is a bit of a hoot, particularly in the wet. Highly recommended.

One of the most moronic posts in the history of moronic posts.

So what IS the point of this practice ? No evidence for Safety ( that’s what your Horn is for). What Else ?

Aesthetics, Nicer Sound, Performance I would get but no one here claiming these so why the extra ( designed ?) Noise (if avoidable) ?

Always amazes me when people fit an aftermarket baffle less pipe then complain about the wind noise in there helmets (that if they actually own a brain and wear one )

There's a big difference between "loud" and "good sound". The performance plus is in most cases close to zero.

My reason for Akrapos on my Bikes is the design and the far better sound (without annoying db).

.... but the pipework on the Wave does look like stainless so just maybe the slip-on is the real deal?

However, in many cases a "loud" can will lose you performance - folk who don't know about engine dynamics think that less restrictive exhaust = more power. Rarely true, unless you get it remapped/chipped and set up on a rolling road - very few of those in Thailand!

Looks like, you're right. But exactly the same picture with the similar background you can find on shopee for the 1490THB ????

Correct as you can read in man many tests. As you say, many of the "upgrades" reduce the power slightly. But the noise-makers won't believe. As they don't believe such a thing does not enlarge their dick
