Talk of bars getting restaurant licenses to be able to server alcohol with "food" over the peak season, prior to the 15th Jan government meeting about whether or not bars should be allowed to open.   

For American style, Tigglebitties or Route 66 are both good and reasonably priced

Pre Covid I was there on a regular basis for diner.

I would not call the quality of food "outstanding", but it's one of the better places in Pattaya. You'll make nothing wrong to book there.

I think the Sportsman and Robin Hood will be doing Christmas dinners.

My guess is he presumes restaurants will be allowed to sell alcohol then, and hence many new restaurants of ex closed bars!

Even Hungry Hippo ..... probably Cheap Charlies (which was doing well yesterday).... but if you really want to pay, The main hotels too.

Witherdpoons, Tropical on Darkside are taking bookings now.

Every couple of months the wife wants to make a trip to the Pattaya market and we usually have brunch in Casa Pascal. Been a lot better during the pandemic, with less customers the quality of the outside grill shot up.

Try Dicey O'Reilly's in the Avani Hotel on 2nd Road about opposite Avenue.  Not cheap, but quite good with plenty to eat in a buffet setting.  Same for Thanksgiving.

I was there for brunch sometimes. Worth the price.

But the diner is very different. Different customers, no tattooed flipflop people, relatively high prices, very nice service.

Pascal and his son are friendly men.

Here is the Christmas Menu for your perusal, as usual a fine Traditional Christmas  Dinner with two sittings this year, 5 o’clock and 8 o’clock on two days, the 24th, Christmas Eve, and the 25th Christmas Day.

 

The cost per head is 995 BAHT for the meal, not including alcoholic drinks.

 

When you make your booking, it will help us to know your choice of dishes, if possible!
