Landmark Inquiry: British Committed Genocide Against Indigenous Australians in Victoria
And the politicians will keep dangling that free money just out of reach so they'll win those votes. -

Accident Student Struck by Bus Driving Against Traffic on Bangkok Crossing
If it was my daughter, I would have dragged the bus driver out of the bus and beat him to death. I stopped parking in the designated school parking area, where we need to walk across 3 separate Zebra crossings to get to school, mainly because of how many close calls we've had with motorist trying to hit us inside the crossings. I have had to kick so many car doors, smack several car mirrors with a book bag, and push motorcyclist to a stop too many times (including on the sidewalks) getting to school. I now drive her right to the front door of the school, not taking any more chances. My hatred for Thai drivers and the culture of me-first A-holes in this country who do nothing about it, is well known, and well deserved! The only thing worse is some of the Farang apologists on here who defend Thai bad/dangerous behavior, like it should be tolerated, I hate these idiots more than anyone 🤬 -

U.S. 3.5 percent tax on remittance transfers is still in the Senate version of big bill
"Remittance Tax - The Senate version was an improvement over the House version as it would not impose the tax on remittance transfers made by banks or bank cards. The final Senate version imposes the tax at 1%, down from 3.5%, a further improvement. The tax will still impact Americans abroad who will not use bank accounts, Credit cards or Debit cards to move money abroad. Although the tax has been lowered is it now not creditable. ACA advocacy has paid off as the Remittance Tax was of deep concern to our organization. ACA will continue to advocate on this issue." https://www.americansabroad.org/latest_update_on_provisions_in_the_one_big_beautiful_bill_obbb_that_affect_us_citizens_overseas_250701 -

Australia Bans Kanye West Over 'Heil Hitler' Song
It it is a song, in any event, it is a work of art and thus exempted from harsh "hate speech" laws normally. Not that it is hate speech in any way shape or form. This probably has more to do with Kanye taking an Australian woman.- 1

Back Kachin, Not the Junta: US Policy Faces Reckoning in Myanmar
This may be a good idea. Based on its history, Burma in its present form appears unsustainable. Anything that can be done to weaken the genocidal, serial killing, gem smuggling, heroin dealing, morally bankrupt junta, and it's cadre of multi billionaire generals would be a great thing for humanity.
