Pattaya Police crackdown on illegal crane machine games

Pattaya – The Pattaya City Police cracked down on illegal crane machine games in Pattaya last night (December 10th). A Cambodian man was also arrested during the crackdown with three crane machine games seized from him.

 

The Pattaya City Police was notified from locals that many people were playing crane machine games in Tree Town Market in Soi Bua Khao. A team from the Pattaya City Police led by the new Police Chief Colonel Kunlachart Kunlachai investigated the area in front of the toilets.

 

Police reportedly found many Thai and foreign players at the area. A Cambodian man, Mr. Kwang Sok, 24, who said he was only a caretaker, was arrested. He was taken to the Pattaya City Police Station for further investigation. Police seized three crane machine games from this area.

Serious stuff this. The RTP are saving the nation without fear of personal injury what these toy crane machines could do to them. Brave folk indeed and the nation owe them a debt of gratitude in stamping out this hideous crime.

I thought bridge and darts have both been illegal in LOS for years. I remember seeing a story of the BiB's arresting old folks for playing that dastardly bridge game, and around the same time all bars were required to remove the dart boards.

Possibly, because they are drafting a new "pool table license" than bars will have to buy to have a legal pool table.  ????
