Guy from the most vaccinated country in the world (and probably at least triple jabbed) had a negative test before leaving Israel, then arrived in BKK and had another test which turned up positive. He then had another 2 further tests in Koh Samui, both of which are negative. A report in a newspaper not allowed to be linked here states that the medical authorities STILL believe he has Covid despite the 3 out of 4 negative tests. Something is definitely wrong here. Stupid to leave the quarantine hotel but if as it turns out he is not infected then we have the equivalent of a wrongly convicted person escaping jail, getting the original conviction overturned, then having to go back to jail for the crime of escaping the jail he should never have been sent to in the first place. What is clear from this is that the tests cannot be trusted - the Israeli obviously didn't trust the test was accurate and neither do the medics on Samui who doubt the accuracy of the additional 2 that were taken. The hotels have proven in the past they cannot be trusted and have been scamming tourists. Its good that you trust the test, the hotels and the authorities here though.
