Royal Thai Police is offering free Moderna third dose boosters on a walk-in basis. You must have had your second dose BEFORE September 30.

 

Registration desk opens on ground floor, Amarin Plaza (Chidlom BTS) at 8am.

 

I arrived at 715am & there were already 300 people before me. Go early!

 

Bring your two-dose vaccination paper, pink ID card (if you have one) and actual passport. One form is in English, another in Thai. Easy-peasy.

 

Makes up for all those 90-day reports!

Imagined this scenario when strolling up to Patong Govt Hospital 13 DEC at 9:30 am after leisurely coffee thinking just to recon the first Moderna Booster Day for later visit.  Surprised to get ticket # 76 /100 doses !

Combined with MOPH Vax Book collection 21 DEC. Job Done. No 4th booster for me. Will wait for next winter flu / Covid cocktail jab……

Moderna may be a good choice now, it's shown to be as good and likely superior booster VE compared to Pfizer in a recent UK report.

Do check though as some countries advise against moderna vaccine in males under 24 years of age and there may be more advisories.

What I meant was, are Pfizer recipients eligible yet for these walk-in vaccinations?
