Pet friendly

Featured Replies

Anyone know of a dog friendly place to stay on Koh Chang?

Beachside would be best but if not then it wouldn't be a deal breaker.

Look up "Pet Friendly" hotels on:

Booking.com

Loads of hotels and resorts available at all prices.

Call direct after looking them up you'll may get a better rate and to be sure their still open.

Look for resorts with individual bungalows they are usually OK.  Then simply call them. If they have a dog already they are usually OK.

My wife smuggles her small dog in, in a shoulder bag.

Also look on Gmap for resorts not listed on booking sites, and I usually have better success with them, except or Krung Thep area.

If from a booking site, get ph # off Gmap, and ring them up, to verify policy, and possibly, probably, a better rate.   I rarely book anything on the booking sites any more, especially if advance payment required, as like to keep my schedule flexible.

Thanks all.

As a few said I always book direct. I've emailed some places that booking sites say are pet friendly just to be absolutely sure.

Chang Cliff resort,we stayed there a few weeks ago, booked from Agoda,on arrival they charged us I think 500bt for each dog per stay.

Highly recommend this place..

Its in the siam royal view compound so no street dogs, easy walking, nice beach access etc.. Had a great stay there with our 2.

I stayed at Amber Sands resort.  It is on the shore but not a white sandy beach.  More like small yellow pebbles and rocks out off the beach.  But they take pets.  It is a quieter part of the island.

It's on the north side of the island, going to the left as you leave the ferries.  They also have some kayaks and paddleboards you can use for free.  And a platform you can go to maybe 25 meters off the beach.  Also a pool.
