I had one when I was young.

Mainly because I could drive it on a m/c license.

Wonder how well it would do when one of them big lorries has a 'brake failure'?

Half the appeal of the existing tuktuk is the ability to pile in and out quickly and at random places, adding doors removes that appeal.

It has an IC engine!

Some years ago a mate, let's call him “Q”, owned a Reliant Regal Supervan, yes, his was yellow!

One afternoon Q was hammering along the Christchurch bypass as fast as the beast would go, it's a dual carriageway (divided road) speed limit 70mph. Just before a convenient lay-by a Jam-Sandwich (traffic car) lit him up from behind. Q being a law-abiding citizen pulled over and awaited the plod (UK, don't get out of the car if it's unsafe).

After watching the cops in the mirror (seemingly having a discussion) for what seemed like hours one of the two officers finally got out and approached. Desperately trying to keep a straight face PC 452 leaned in the driver's window and said “We thought you would like to know you were doing 65mph, so I'm afraid we can't give you a speeding ticket”.

A quick licence and paperwork check and a very shaken Q is on his way.

If the front wheel hit a pothole it would be more like spin the bottle.

I remember in the 80's I was sitting outside a street restaurant on Sukhumvit and saw a tuktuk attempting a U turn. This was before there were any median strips and BTS. A speeding car clipped the back of the tuktuk and spun it like a top. After a few rotations the driver was ejected at speed across the road. I didn't go look but it didn't seem that he survived.

Only if priced right & more importantly, if I could register / tag it.

I can't fit in the open ones, let alone one of those.....

If I golfed that would be a great base vehicle to create a customized golf cart....

In traffic you'd have to feel like a ping pong ball in a clothes dryer...

Looks like a bargain for 175,000.  Where can I buy one? Does it come with Air bags?
