More to do with being outside of Australia for more than 183 days a year, therefore a non resident for tax purposes, thus 30% tax from #0 to $135,000, and no exemption for pension, which are deemed an income. No need for Robodebt when Immigration inform Centerlink, and they simply withhold the 30%, and how can you argue you are still a resident of Australia for tax purposes when you live in Thailand full time?
