Re-entry permit abolished?

I read yesterday that the 1000 baht re-entry permit has been abolished or temporarily  suspended 

 

Can anyone confirm?

No I read it yesterday,  trouble is I read so much I can't find it now

Rest assured that if/when reentry permits were ever put on hold it would be front page news.

I don't understand,  I know I read it yesterday as I went to locate a TM8 form in my office

 

But now I can't find where I read it ....anywhere...little early for an April fool joke, but makes me look like an idiot

 

Perhaps Ubon Joe will delete this thread until I find the source

Once there was a rumour that we could do out 90 day reports at 7/11 shops.

Took off like wildfire.

Wouldn't that be nice.
