Bang Maenang police have arrested a 37 year old Thai mother after she stabbed a female staffer in a Mini Big C store at the Phreuksa 26 housing estate on December 29th.

Sutharin was arrested at a gas station at Petchkasem Soi 81 yesterday.

She was named in a warrant for theft, attempted murder and weapons offences.

She admitted that she had been with her two children who complained of being hungry when they were all on the way to see her new lover.

She said she had no money so she stole two bottles of fizzy drink, a couple of bread items and some jelly that came to just 59 baht, reported Daily News.

Busaba, 23, a female store employee caught her and detained her.

As they waited for police Sutharin grabbed a knife on sale in the store and stabbed the staffer grievously wounding her.

She then fled the store with her children.

Police tracked her down using CCTV and a warrant was issued.

Just stupid, accept that your caught by stabbing someone she only compounded the problems manyfold.

She would probably not have had a problem for the 59 bt if she paid a fine but stabbing that is a whole different thing.

Just try and imagine what it feels like not being able to feed hungry children.

Although couldn't her 'new lover' help out a bit?

She just screwed up her life and that of her kids for what?

59 baht...

Could have waited to get to her "lovers" place and got him to put his hand in his pocket.

There's something to be said for  non-confrontation.

Maximum jail time for this Thai Covidiot, or at least she should be paying for all the hospital expenses

and wages lost by the store attendant, plus jail time.

I have to wonder why she and the kids could not wait to arrive at her guys place and mooch off him?
