Best Instant Coffee In Thailand

Soliciting opinions on the best instant coffee brand in Thailand ???????? For those who drink it, what's your fav?

The special blend of Nescafe Gold produced in Switzerland called "De Luxe" currently available for about half price at Big C Extra... and the similarly priced Italia blend, produced in Italy. I've been through quite a few 200g containers already, but wouldn't like paying the full price of over 600 baht. They are clearing their shelves of a lot of the more expensive imported brands, yet they have a 2023 expire date.

 

Be prepared for some criticism from the coffee snobs who don't consider instant coffee to be real coffee LOL

Moccona 3/1 Espresso ... more than enough sugar & cream ... taste like a crappy cappuccino.  But best out there.  Nescafe being the most vile thing one can drink.

Thanks for the suggestions...I buy plenty of brewed Americanos and cappuccinos but would like to have something around for those mornings when I'm in a bit of a rush and can't be bothered to stop and buy my morning "cuppa."

Subjective I know, but G7 Strong x2 is easily the best I've tried.

I like sweet black coffee and Nescafe Espresso roast is one of the nicest I've tried so far.  The 3 in 1s are OK, but I don't feel the creamer really adds anything.  I'll probably try a couple of the recommendations in this thread now though.

 

I miss Vietnamese coffee.

For a quick and out the door coffee type drink, I prefer the Moccona Espresso.
Works well with a little milk. Readily available at Macro, Tesco etc.

I drink my coffee black so until I can get a fresh coffee maker, I drink Moccona Gold. (the Moccona jars make great storage containers, but the coffee is cheaper in the bag). When I want a desert coffee, I drink what my wife buys, Buddy Dean Classic 3in1. It is about the cheapest, 63 a bag on sale. Years back they used only Brazilian arabica but have since removed the claim. In truth, I like the 7/11 3in1, but they do not sell it other than singles to make in store.

I don't care for anything fancy, so when I do have a morning brew, it's Nescafe Red cup instant (Not the 3 in 1 rubbish) for me. 45 grams for 29 baht from 7-11.

Vietnam's G7 3 in 1 coffee, not the healthiest choice but oh boy it smells and taste good...

I like intense tastes and I drink black (no sugar, no milk).

 

Best cheap is Moccona Select. I buy it by the bagful. 

 

For quality, Robert Timms Smooth (available at Foodland and Villa). Imported from Australia.

 

For a burnt taste, UCC Sumiyaki. Imported from Japan.

I like black coffee with no sugar.   When I need something quick and convenient, I found Davidoff to be quite good (almost like brewed), Espresso or Rich Aroma.   Theirs is unusual in that it is 100% Arabica.

The Maccona has several mentions...will definitely be on my list to try.

I prefer beans but my wife keeps G7 on hand. for instant it is pretty good

I just buy the 15 baht Nescafe in the green tin, microwave for 1 minute in a cup. Call me a Philistine, if one is talking instant coffees everyone is.

Buddy Dean Extra Blend is my favourite, similar to Nescafe Gold Blend, only 92 baht from Big C Extra or Lotus

There is a good Vietnamese instant coffee for sale in Foodmart

Tried lots of them and thought Davidoff expresso 57 Intense was the nearest taste and aroma to fresh real coffee.

I throw a scoop of Bon Cafe coffee powder into my coffee maker. I used to grind coffee bean until i got lazy.

Pour some water into th ecoffee makes.

Afew minutes later the aroma .....mmmmm...

That is my instant coffee.

My god, would I be wrong to assume that everyone who drinks these instant 3 in 1 coffees in Thailand is obese? You have to be drinking this every day....this has to be one of the unhealthiest things you can buy here.

 

As for instant I prefer Nescafe "crema". It has a good strong taste.

i don't drink 3 in 1s but they are ok it's only sugar,when they put fatty condensed milk in there's your problem

I drink them everyday, sometimes twice and yes I'm obese. But at least it got me a vaccine and booster quicker.

3 in 1 are garbage full of sugar and powdered creamer with little coffee.

This is Nescafe 3 in 1:

 

Sugar, Glucose Syrup, Hardened Palm Oil, Instant Coffee 7.9%, Caramelized Sugar, Stabilizers, Milk Proteins, Salt, Maltodextrin, Emulsifier, And Natural And artificial ingredients.

 

Terrible taste and bad for your health.

The Maccona is a decent choice.
