Inderpland Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 Are there any tennis groups in Pattaya that meet regularly and play? Asking for my wife who want's to start playing again after a long break. Nothing too competitive, just friendly games.
champers Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 Fairtex on Pattaya North Rd (opposite T21) have courts. You could give them a call.
topt Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 There used to be groups at Royal Cliff and Siam Bayshore (View?) the one at Bali Hai end but no ideas if still going. Ambassador worth a shot as well. 1
bbko Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 I would think a visit to the tennis courts and some asking around could get answers, or easier yet, google "Pattaya tennis clubs", there's several listed but seem inactive due to covid.
SAFETY FIRST Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 Royal Cliff, outside the gymnasium. Opposite Pattaya Meteorology Station/outdoor gym on Pratumnak. 1
kdrayong Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 The best courts are Northpoint - You need to know a co-owner there Centara Grand Mirage - Not cheap and fully booked in the afternoon Pattaya Interclub - Quite far away. You will need transportation Royal Cliff Dusit Thani and Siam Bayshore have each just one acceptable court left, but not comparable to the ones I mentioned before. My advise is to take a lesson with a recommended coach first who might rate your level and find a group for you. PM me for details. (I'm not a professional coach, just playing for fun)
Mansell Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 What level did she play at when she was playing? A lot of people here play doubles. Can she play doubles reasonably competitively? How long since she last played regularly? I didn’t play for seven years and it took me a while to get back to a decent level again. Also what is her age range, that can influence who she would be playing with here?
