Popular Post webfact Posted February 6, 2022 Popular Post Posted February 6, 2022 Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi airport has explained that there is actually no limit on the number of face masks passengers may carry on board overseas flights. In a statement posted on its Facebook page on Saturday, the airport explained that a previous advisory, stating that passengers cannot carry more than 30 face masks without a doctor’s certificate, which increases the limit to 50, was incorrect. It said that face masks are not included on the Thai Internal Trade Department’s list of controlled goods. The airport apologised for the confusion caused. Popular Post ukrules Posted February 6, 2022 Popular Post Posted February 6, 2022 Literally making it up as they go and caught red handed. I wonder what the fine was for having more than 30, who it was paid to by anyone who was fined and where that money (if any was collected) is now..... 4 2 2

We will never know who, if anybody, colected the fines as they were wearing the confiscated masks!
Popular Post khunjeff Posted February 7, 2022 Popular Post Posted February 7, 2022 This wasn't just a matter of inadvertently leaving old information up on a website - the airport went to the trouble of creating an infographic and posting it, all without ever checking whether the information had any basis in fact. The mind boggles. 2 1
