Thailand's PCT or "cyber cops" armed with a search warrant issued Tuesday, yesterday raided a house in the Noble Home estate in Sukhaphiban 6, Bang Plee, Samut Prakan south east of the Thai capital Bangkok.

 

Arrested were OH, JO, WI, UM and KIM - all aged between 27 and 30 - who were acting as administrators of a betting site using Facebook and Line.

Computers, phones and bank books were taken into evidence along with 170,090 baht and 325,000 won in cash.

 

They admitted operating the site and providing assistance to customers since 2019. The business had a yearly turnover of 100 million baht reported Siam Rath

 

They were all arrested and charged with their involvement in the illegal activity.

Only KIM was using his real name...rest were abbreviations!!

Um , not sure if it is Oh No or Dr,No or Hey Jo but the one in the yellow shorts needs to put his mask back on to cover up those square bits.

Thailand have been for long time now and more so since the Covid started, a haven for all sorts of scammers, flim-flam, con artists and all other unsavoury criminals and the police can only catch the tip of the iceberg...

Not arrested, but rescued here in Cambodia today (24 February 2022):-

another bunch of criminals proving the 90 days reporting is utter and complete nonsense

The boiler room scammers have been here for years under protection from the Thai authorities.
