Not just Russia, seems China have now joined them in their propaganda/disinformation war.

agree with you as the wife reads China news every morning and she laughs when comparing their (Chinese) (mis) information to the west information... unfortunately some of her relatives believe the Chinese version

it appears Vlad is not learning from his past mistakes, back in 1941 Nazis got stuck in the Ukraine mud, same is happening with the Orcs ....  (Russia’s faltering offensive is getting bogged down in the mud as the “rasputitsa” spring thaw comes early to Ukraine)

Vladimir Putin keeps making the same basic mistakes

Putin’s army stuck in mud like Hitler's in 1941

Because what Russia is doing undermines the very basis of international law and global stability.

If larger and "stronger" countries can just invade, conquer and annexe parts (or all) of any neighboring country simply because they want to, then the global stability of the entire world is in serious danger.

For instance, as many people have pointed out, if Russia can get away with this, China will feel emboldened in regards to taking more aggressive action against Taiwan - possibly up to and including invasion.

And as some of the videos from Russian state media posted just recently on this thread indicate, Russia already has ambitions towards other former Soviet states and if successful in Ukraine they will be even more likely to actively pursue those ambitions.

Not opposing Russia now will almost inevitably lead to more and more problems in future, some of which may be even more intractable.

Regardless, Russia having the means to destroy you and everyone you know and your country is why European countries and America can't just go barging in, unless their existence is at stake, which it isn't.

A US president a while back said, "walk softly and carry a big stick" which holds true today. Unless a country can either defend itself, or join an alliance that can, weak countries will likely be taken over, as has happened as long as there have been countries.

That's why there is NATO, an alliance to defend itself against Russian imperialism and barbarism, and the West has every right to supply weapons to Ukraine to defend itself.

The west can do anything it likes, but why is NATO involved when no NATO country is under attack?
