Well, well.

Looks like those hoping that real and tangible sanctions wouldn't cause real and tangible problems have got a lot of egg all over their pretty faces.

Absolutely disgusting coments from a Minister,, but Thailand hasn't got the Balls to condemn other Countries,, but if the situation was reversed, Thailand would expect the world to back them....

You guys are definitely living in a pardise!

Anyway we dont want to p**s Russia off because we need the Russian tourists even if they are ignorant and rude.

That's exactly right, Thailands only vested interest is any money they can leech off the Russians, don't want to jeopardize that !!!

Not all Russian's support this invasion as can be attested by the protest marches throughout their country in the face of imminent arrest as it is illegal to protest over there, democracy? doesn't exist, to sit idly by and not condemn these actions is simply unethical.

THis shows the moral and competence of this Government... Birds of a feather flock together

Thailand should form another commitee to come up with a policy on Russia. By the time they do come up with a policy the conflict will be over, so no decision needs to be made. Thailand can then wash their hands of any moral commitment and stay in the midddle to collect the crumbs left over.

Seriously what did everyone expect?

Sometimes better not to say anything.........China is all eyes on you!

Some dogs have learned its not wise to bite their master.

How pathetic is that I guess they don’t wanna <deleted> off China or the Russians did to them being afraid of losing money T IT

I reckon like most of the world they assume it's only a matter of time until Putin installs his puppet government in Ukraine, so saying anything critical of Russia does nothing for them. Never mind there may be a successful resistance and never mind concepts of right, wrong, sovereign borders, human rights, war crimes, and barbarism. Don't make waves!

I am not surprised by this Thai military governments response. All I can say is I'm disappointed with, the head in the ground, stance Thailand is taking.

What else do you expect from a group of autocrats like this. Perhaps they think unprovoked war is a good idea.  That human suffering is OK.  That lives ruined is just karma.  Wonder what they would think if the PLA was marching into Thailand to liberate the Chinese diaspora.

The word APPEASEMENT seems to be particularly suitable in this situation, sort of like WW11, please leave us alone while you walk through and attack Malaya, and Singapore . What is not taught is how many Thais died on that damn railway

Come on guys.. give the guy a break.. you can not expect him to pick a side until he absolutely knows for sure which side is going to win..

What do we expect, an unelected military-run government turning against a murdering invading tyrant!

Shame on Thailand!  (You will be remembered!)

Some matters, he said, must be allowed to take their natural path, adding that the war in Ukraine involves many players with various vested interests.

A rather bland and pathetic statement from a morally bankrupt administration. As they themselves are struggling with legitimacy, they would rather maintain relations with Russia, than rock the boat. These creeps are on the wrong side of history, and are holding their people back in countless ways. Does Thailand even care that they are in the North Korea, China, India, Israel, UAE camp now? Shameless nations, not wanting to disrupt relations with a condemnation. Spineless.

Don, like Anutin, Phiphat and Prayuth is a BOB (bottom of the barrel) member of this goon clan. Is there any talent to be found anywhere in this group?

Talking-heads are incapable of silence. Whatever comes out is irrelevant and opaque at best.

Foreign Minister Don Pramudwinai said today (Tuesday) that Thailand may need to fine-tune its policy on the Russian invasion of Ukraine, but it will not rush to condemn Russia, like many other countries have done, because it will not help to improve the situation.

A very diplomatic response and IMO in the best interest of Thailand.

What politician would not love to be able to play both sides? Let's see if' it's possible.

Thai authorities lack critical thinking skills so this topic is way beyond their thought processes…they have no idea what to say

Not to mention small children ripped apart by cluster munitions from Grad missiles fired into cities!

Pathetic.

Not surprise doing so would go against your true and future Master  "China "  to speak the truth you got to have some fortitude so you don't soil yourself when ask to do the right thing.
