Famous online retailer Pimrypie, who is known for her assertive, witty speaking style, has faced public outcry after making a joke about the Ukraine crisis during a live stream session.

The hashtag #พิมรี่พาย (#Pimrypie) trended on Thai Twitter on Wednesday, with over 163,000 tweet mentions.

Pimrypie, or Pimradaporn Benjawattanapat, was selling her products on livestream when she made a comment about the recent Russia-Ukraine conflict, which netizens later blasted for her naivety.

Maybe a bad sleep, Herpes labialis wait till the person is weakened and causes cold sores.

The joke was just a joke, invented by the Jews it seems, to laugh away sadness.

If her sales increase it will prove once again the old Hollywood saying: "There is no such thing as bad publicity".

I doubt she can help it. Just a silly little girl with no concept of what is happening and likely can’t see 10 metres beyond her own perfect world. Maybe a generational thing coupled with where she is. Perhaps sending her to the frontline would wake her up.

Just maybe she knows her audience and customer base. Thailand is very much trending pro Russia and pro Putin, IMO.

None of the friends I have after over 30 years in Thailand are pro putin or pro Russia, not one. The very few Thai's I have heard that like putin are at the educational level where they think celebrity news is news and not gossip and that's the most serious thing they ever listen to.

Just another slapper

Just another online "D" level nobody trying to make it big.

Can I start crowd funding to buy her a ticket to Ukraine? One way would be OK!????

She said something we don't like. What's the penalty for that in Thailand. If it was the West we'd just cancel her.

Ignorance knows no bounds in Thailand !

Actually, the ignorance can be found globally. I really appreciate Charles Dickens warning given by the Spirit of Christmas Present in "A Christmas Carol". We are warned that Ignorance and Want spell doom for humanity ...
