I've only been on this forum for a relatively short time, however it has been a most enjoyable experience.

What helps make that experience fulfilling is the comic relief of the nut cases that appear on the forum from time to time.

Whether you love them, hate them, or just get yourself into fits of laughter over their posts, I feel that TV would be boring without them.

What do other members think of the fruit cakes on the forum?

I think if all the fruit cakes were removed from ThaiVisa there'd be hardly anybody left. For sure there are some class acts out there that leave me wondering how they manage to get dressed each morning but then they probably think the same of me.

At the end of the day the forum is merely a cross section of real life spiced up by anonymity.

I prefer the ones with the ability to make low key posts with perfect timing that really make you laugh to the ones who try too hard to be outrageous just to get attention.

well, i recon it would be nearly as boring as some of the posters in bedlam.

i could reel of a few, but they would really start to cry, and there would not be enough tissue's in los to console them.

oh quieten down you blokes, as some of you are ok but some of you are full of your own importance.

jeez, its only a bloody internet forum after all and some posters go on like there near on family with each other.

I think having they are good for the forum and i agree with cdn, i like the one liners best.

However, when a new one comes on the board i'm always trying to think who they could've been before. Had they been banned or are they totally new.

I used to like the "The Dude" cos he dug with a big shovel !! He was never offensive, just a complete looney. But not seen him around for a long time.

I do really enjoy nutters like WEHO or The Donz. Too bad that the latter got pretty quiet for a while. Also Jeff Rosner's posts are sometimes classics!

I really enjoy reading the gents posts, cant quite work out if he actually speaks that way normally or just trys to do it when posts

Speaking of nuts (or obsessions) I had a look through the "hot asses" thread & realised that near half the contributions have come from only three or four posters.

Not that I mind though - easy to waste an hour or too on that thread....

Never seen too many posts from the Donz but he must have been quite something for people to be raving about him with FA posts in six moths!!!!

I've enjoyed Bedlam for a long while now and have seen many great posters come and go. Sometimes boring but oftentimes hilarious, making it well worth the trip here. It can get serious but never too profound.

We love each other so much over here that we pick out and eat the sultanas and corn from each others cakes.

Here is a few small sultanas from my freshly baked cake, hot and steaming out of the oven. Chew them slowly and savour them. Its my gift to you

I think there is a distinct difference between the nutters and the ratbags. I have noticed a couple recently that put a post asking for information and then refute the answer as being wrong. Then someone independently posts the same information often with a source quoted and the OP goes into a tirade about everyone in the entire Forum being wrong and how dare they put up such meaningless trash and then the whole scene spirals down. The one I am thinking of was asked yesterday in CM forum Teaching

I don't think these guys are trolls becuase they don't come across as being smart enough to know what they are doing. I think they are just rat bags.

I like the nutters in TV some of them are clever and some are funny despite their best attempts to be serious but the other breed are neither and take up a lot of energy.

Speaking of nutters, I received a very interesting letter (PM) from one of them this morning. Apparently, after repeated warnings for rule violations from the moderation team, he (she) apparently got moderated.

The contents of the letter, which I may later reveal pending permission from said sultana (and moderation team) have to remain confedential at this point in time.

However, said sultana has proclaimed that although he (she) was a he this time around, he (she) will come back as a reversed gender next time!!!!!

I can understand people wanting to remain anonymous on the net - but gender confusion??

I just ahad a look at that thread....jeeeezzusss...here I do not understand TV....that guy deserved ejection at a much earlier stage for the skae of this forum's sanity...or - for going by the books - asking and discussing something illegal. Oopps....that was just a statement...noooo.I did not want to discuss moderation....noooo...please do not reply to this.....
