I have met a few TV members and was really shocked to find out that they were not really former (or present)  SAS  commandos.

i guess what keeps me going is the determination to find someone who walks the walk.

There was a time when one could form the opinion that Pattaya Soi 6 was an SAS and Seal R & R area ????.   Of course after 5 minutes listening to those wags you knew it was actually an uncover real life experimental research centre to determine the alcoholic proof % of drinks ????

I think riding a motorbike at 80 is a sure way to shorten whatever time I have left.

I ride a scooter at age 78, just renewed my 5 year driving license.

IMO driving in Thai traffic on a scooter is a great way to stay mentally alert, and ward off Alzheimer's.

I thought they were going upstairs for a debriefing ................

Pro tip: You don't actually need to marry them. The majority are very happy if you just "take care."

I'll bet my forty year older and 40 yr old GF/Wife will eventually take more care of me (but I hope to never know).

Actually hanging out (not marrying) with younger women and trying to be active in some sport or the gym, or motorcycle riding or whatever activity can help a person get their mind off any of the blues.

LOL. If I tried to "hang out" with younger women they'd probably call the cops.

Owning a m'bike in NZ now is very expensive because of the ACC levy. Pity, as I loved riding my m'bike in my 20s.

IMO just accepting one's age and keeping busy or doing anything that keeps one's mind off one's situation works for me most of the time.

There is a movie called Ronin with Robert DeNiro and Jean Reno (it has nothing to do with Japan).  Actually a good action movie about for-hire tough guys shooting up France.  About 20 years ago, it seemed like every expat hangout in LOS had this movie playing constantly.  I think the scene most enjoyed is where the Sean Bean character gets his comeuppance.  It addresses the situation of your post.

I've witnessed too many middle-aged women pursue the Fountain of Youth by behaving like a spoiled 14 year-old.  Their lives are just one hissy fit after next.  IMO it's a pretty sorry sight.

Whatever floats your boat op. Expect most of the world’s populace—barring the rich aholes that have made massive coin out of covid—is stressing over lost time and associated mental effects. As at any point in one’s life; diet, environment, exercise, sleep, good books, good music. Women may also help, but I find minimal exposure best. ????

If I tried that, I'd be in traction. As Dirty Harry said, "Man's got to know his limitations."

Father time is not "sneaking" anywhere.  He's roaring up the boulevard with "The four horsemen" and all of the Valkyries.  They're all riding Harley Fat boys with straight pipes.  Subtle is not their forte'

I'll meet them when they arrive.  In the mean time I really enjoy getting up on the green side of the grass.

I've never seen that.
I don't think I've even seen one.
Thank you for attracting that kind of woman, and taking one (maybe several) for the team.

Or get away before Alzheimer's
(or at the first sign of...)
