Friend’s flight from Manchester to Phuket with Qatar didn’t take off on Thursday and they were put on a different flight yesterday. She needs wheelchair assistance and Qatar haven’t changed this over. She’s just arrived at Doha and the wheelchair was not there for her. That is now sorted (as she collapsed ) but do you know any contacts in a Phuket airport who can make sure the wheelchair is there for her? She had a brain injury as a child. She is very tired and this journey has been an absolute nightmare for her. Thank you for the help. Appreciate.

Why wouldn’t she just inform the airline she’s flying with?  
 

As a last resort she could ask the purser (chief flight attendant) on the flight to Phuket for help. They should be able to contact the airport staff (at least after arrival).

She just has to make clear that she can not walk.

I have no doubt that wheelchairs are available there.
