Cannot open pdf file on iPhone

Featured Replies

For some reason i cannot open the pdf files showing on the 90 days online website, 2 x reports of TM47 and Notification do not open but go grey.

Any attempt to copy or share saves only the pdf icon image.

I downloaded the Adobe Acrobat reader app but that doesn’t seem to help, presumably only for reading/editing already existing files ?.

It is almost as if something is blocking the opening, disabling ad blocker also didn’t help.

iPhone is a new model, up to date 15.4.1.

Not sure when this started as I rarely open pdf’s on my phone but pretty sure it worked 90 days ago .

Any ideas anyone ?

It is very likely that you have a pop up blocker and immigration will not allow access until you acknowledge the pop up that is being blocked.

Settings>Safari>Block Pop-ups

Try either the turnoff content blockers under a long press on the AA section of the URL bar or use chrome as the built in blockers only apply to safari.

Thanks SWW ,

I unchecked the block popups switch in Settings/Safari and that did the trick.
