Mac Mickmanus
Reading the headline and you would think that business is booming . But when you take into consideration that many businesses closed in the last few years and very few opened , you can understand why there's been an 83 % increase in new businesses compared to last year
2long
Is this really news? Of course Phuket is the main southern tourist province, and after 2021 and with the eased entry restrictions, it's obvious that there will be an increase. In other news... The sun will rise in the east tomorrow, Bangkok will be hot, and Prayuth is a fool.
Gottfrid
Yep, 82 % from nothing is great! 1 tourist would make up that. However, this makes me wonder if the guy was decapitated.

Most likely most were people who went out of business and left debtors stranded during covid to open under a new name on re-opening !
