Is a Soapy Massage Safe?

Recommended Posts

Dear Friends,

I have never been to a Soapy Massage parlor.

Still, who might not be curious about what goes on there.

Visiting a Soapy Massage parlor, morally speaking, is fine with me; and I see nothing wrong with a bit of fun and entertainment.

My only concern might be that of safety.

For example, I have difficulty getting in and out of the tub, even at home.

If I were to visit one of these places, with so much soap, then these tubs and floor surfaces could be slippery.

Maybe I would slip and fall, while having fun.

Do the girls really take care of you and ensure your safety?

Also, do they provide some of those non-slip stickers on the floor, and in the bathtub, for example?

I would say that, for most of us, getting up the courage to visit a Soapy Massage parlor is not easy.

And so, if we knew that there were safety features in the parlors, this might encourage us to expand our horizons in this direction.

Otherwise, probably we will choose not to visit these places, and just read, on social media, about the experiences of others who go to have Soapy Massages.

I have never been.

But, if safe, then I see nothing wrong with going.

Regards.

Note:  I would say that having a Soapy Massage is no different than going to get a haircut,

Yup....me too. If the wife found out .................................I shudder to think of the consequences.

Been to plenty back in the day. Best not to go end of the month or other busy times. Mid day , mid week , mid month for a relaxing time. Had some memorable experiences to look back on.

I had a regular girl in a nice place once. I used to take a bottle of wine and 2 glasses in with me and we would chill out in the tub together. Velly nice.

I think it is something to try at least once.  Kind of mechanical and too many rules I thought.

Also, you pick the girl from a clear glass fish bowl set up and pay first so if you get a dud no refunds.

PS:  Yes, the floors can get slippery lots of soap all over the place.

"All over the place"?

Even there?

wow...  from the subject line, I thought this was a thread about COVID.  because COVID safety is the logic why they were closed for 2 years (or still closed.  unsure about current status).  I have never seen a sign outside that says "closed because of safety hazard of tiles too slippery with soap".  GG throws the curveball!

If you are scared of slipping, look for a wheelchair friendly parlour ask for getting everything done while sitting on the wheelchair. Maybe they can wheel you under a shower instead of lifting you into a tub.

I tried one once, didnt like it !

I found it to be rushed as though, need to get on to the next one, or may be she just didnt want to be doing it, or like a robot.

My "safety'  concern was that what took place in there  wasnt being filmed and would appear on some website !

I don't know how you look like. But are you sure anybody would want to look at such video? ????

Personally I don't think anybody would want to watch how a girl puts soap on me.

On my first day in Thailand ever, many years ago, I asked the taxi driver to bring me to such a place from the airport. It was relaxing after such a long flight.

Then later I had another look and another look but mostly the girls were not according to my taste. I like small and brown and cute, Buriram style. And that is certainly not on offer. Over the time I also looked at other typical Thai places. No, it's not for me.

IMHO there is a reason why there are different entertainment areas for different "nationalities". The type of girls many farangs like are not what Thais like and vice versa.

Girls like i.e. this one work only in farang oriented businesses.

Seriously now, and more important, are those place and girly bars safe enough for the the canoodling and take away purposes or one should be wary still of catching some Covid?...

Tried a few times and there was never a tub involved. They lay a water-proof pad or inflatable rubber mattress on the floor and that's where all the suds and squirming takes place. The floor has a built in drain and the entire room, mattress and participants can be hosed down and readied for the next customer. Plenty of towels on hand to dry off and stand on before putting your clothes on and walking out the door with a smile on your face.

I can't remember how many I've had. Each and every soapy (save one) was sheer joy to me. The only dangerous part is, when stepping out of the bathtub and onto the floor, that you don't slip. Every girl always made sure and gave me a helping hand.

The one that disappointed was at a famous place in Bangkok. When we went upstairs and she took off her clothes, she could damn near play football (soccer for the yanks) with the tata's.

Only once have I ever got into a tub  and that was 25 years ago.

Usually it is just a larger shower floor with a matt.

Girls are very sure to help  you after all the last thing they need is you hurting yourself and then mamasan getting <deleted> as she has to pay you hush money not to talk to police.

First soapie I had was a haircut, soapy to wash away any stray hairs then a check to make sure ever part of me was clean.   It was a REALLY GREAT HAIR CUT.

OP: I f you don't lick up the soapy residues from the floor, you are perfectly safe. Statistics show, that the chance of having an earlobe cut off at the barber are higher than breaking a leg at any parlor (soapy or not).

Just out of curiosity, after reading your comment here....

What is it that other nationalities like, including men born here?

The soap is used in the bath to ensure one is clean, and to engage  in a bit of water sports.

The soap is rinsed off as one exits the bath.

After all, if a woman is licking a man in places that cannot be mentioned in a family-oriented forum, she would prefer the next thing to godliness.

While there is the occasional inflatable mattress, they mostly go unused, as the beds are raised and more appropriate for the occasion.

I do know of one guy who slipped and hit his head while in a soapy massage establishment, so it behooves one to be careful.

IIRC, the OP has previously posted he is sworn to celibacy. Perhaps the strain of reading lascivious posts on ASEAN is getting to be too much for him.
