A THIEF who pretended to be a patient stole an X-ray machine from a hospital in Krabi province which is now in serious trouble as doctors there do not have this essential equipment in treating their patients, Amarin TV said this afternoon (May 23).

 

Dr. Natthaphong Du-ngam, director of Plai Phraya Hospital Krabi, posted a message on his personal Facebook page asking people to help search for clues in tracking down this unscrupulous thief.

 

He related that the thief, a masked man of around 30-40 years of age, came to the hospital at approximately 7 p.m. last evening wearing a large backpack on his chest and pretended to be sick and in need of medical treatment.

You really cant blame him, they charge arms and legs for medical services. Thieves have decided to do it themselves!!

It's an x-ray machine for ants? It's not something you just put in your backpack and walk away. More like put in the back of a truck.

Stole to order would be my guess. Just look for a hospital that has cancelled their order for one

A picture of an ex-ray machine like the one stolen would help. Was it just a hand held one? guess we'll never know.  

What the HELL can the black market value of this machine possibly be?!?

I hope he does not try to scrap it, there's radio active stuff inside.
