Phuket police investigating "mystery" death of Russian tourist who fell from 8th floor of Patong condo

Daily News Thai Caption: Russian woman falls from building

 

Daily News reported that police in Patong, Phuket were investigating what they called a mystery death after a Russian woman fell from an eight floor condo yesterday morning. The media referred to her as a tourist.

 

Security and condo staff were waiting at the scene when police arrived.

 

The victim was found to be Evgeniia S., 37 (though a passport published by the media suggested she was 35).

 

Four people were staying in the condo where they had been drinking. People were drunk.

The victim had fallen from a condo at the rear where the balcony wall was quite low in a connecting piece between the 8th and 7th floors. 

 

The woman fell to the ground floor. 

 

Patong and the tourist police are investigating the incident that also featured in lurid stories of partying on Amarin TV last night.

 

That media suggested that the victim had rented long term.

I have been coming to Thailand from 1996. You have two areas that Russian go Patong and Sin City. I was told by a police offer in Sin City that Russian Mafia brought in Russian HOOOOKERS. In Sin City there were Russian Brothels.

The Thai police will likely get nowhere with this. They are very nervous when dealing with Russians.

She was 37 but passport shows 35. Let me guess? DNA testing? Or she had some weird reveling tatoo?

Well being drunk and balcony's are not a good mix. Any guilt?

  A person from a northern country with its currency in the tank,

being in Thailand and maybe having to go back to an unhappy life.

Many possible reasons for this tragic ending.
