Saigon easy winner and bonus of nice helpful consulate in district 1 area close to Bui Vien st.

A lot of fun to be had there. Some great Airbnb deals to be had. Fast ferry to Vung tau beach resort. Good looking available women everywhere. Airport bus $1.

If your like Indian food then Malaysia takes some beating, although it can be difficult to find a place where you can have a beer with your meal.

If you like ridiculously cheap beer then Vietnam is pretty good, but if you can't use chopsticks then you may have issues.

As I don't do visa runs myself, this might be helpful to those considering a quick visa run:

A new hotel in Laos and unbelievable cheap.  Not as yet on the main booking sites, Booking, Agoda, etc.  The most expensive hotel room is approx B1,000 for a night.

Translation:

Inflation crisis The inflation crisis made Laos cheap. The baht was converted into kip almost twice as much. From 1 baht used to be 300 kip, now 1 baht gets 500 more. But prices in Laos cannot move much. because Lao people have the same salary If you move a lot, you won't be able to sell. benefit people became a traveler Room used to be 700, now 350 Food used to be 80, now 40. Massage used 300 now 160 Washed my hair before 100, now 50. Beer used to be 50 now 25 baht. Who has never had the experience of using cheap money? should come to Laos now PS. The most expensive room in this picture, Thai money is 1000 baht, can sleep 4 people.
