What does it matter if you live in Thailand.

A: I don’t.

B: None of the candidates standing is from Pakistan. They are all british. To say otherwise is bigotry in action.

You have to remember that MM has been a supporter of that criminal Boris all along so hence anybody that condones such behaviour will, just like Boris, come up with all sorts of incorrect or even downright imaginative replies to support that outgoing liar. However when you think of all those who supported Boris now throwing their hats into the ring for the PMs job will this make any difference to the country ? I doubt it as replacing one crook with another from his gang will just be more of the same unfortunately. Ben Wallace has decided it is not for him and Penny Mordant as yet has not declared whether she is running and they are the only two who are honourable enough to hold that position IMHO. As for the rest well more heartbreak for the country I'm afraid irrespective of who wins the race.

Well I am glad that Penny Mordant is in the running and according to the bookies, then as of now neck and neck with Sunak. Now of course the MPs could get together to ensure she does not reach the final two but hopefully that will not be the case and once it goes to rank and file Tories to vote I have no doubt she will win quite resoundingly. As I said before she at least is an honorable one compared to many of the others.

If you think that the police are more beholden to the leader of the opposition than to the leader of the government that is in charge of them and provides the vast majority of their funding, then I don't think I'm the naive one.

Correct, I didn't say that, I don't think that - but good effort at trying to put words in my mouth.

As I've explained in a previous post. On more than one occasion, when questioned on the effect of the Pandemic, Johnson said it was business as usual and his projects would continue.  If he'd said things would have to be re-visited, I'm sure most people would have understood but Boris being Boris, he lied again.  The Northern section of HS2 has already been postponed, as has the upgrading of rail links between several major Northern cities. More relevantly, there's about as much chance of 40 new hospitals being built before 2030 as there is of the sky falling in.

Given that these matters were manifesto pledges - the reasons many voted Conservative, I expect them to be fulfilled. I think that all politicians, regardless of their flavour should be hauled over the coals for reneging on election promises - its a form of deception.

Johson seem to think that if he says something, its done and he can move on. The fact that it never gets done is irrelevant to him - we're all expected to believe its so.

So in answer to your question - I expect him, and any other politician to abide by what they say.

When you say a politician should abide by what they say.

It reminds me of a quote made by someone who I forget.

" When things go wrong how can anyone believe what any politician says when you know if you were in his place you would lie ".

Now look chap's, it doesn't matter what you anti-Tory folk say, Boris is still in control of the country, the vote of confidence fail put another dent in Labours socialist  ego..

It seems Labour are champing at the bit because Boris has been put on the shelf, but what Labour do not realise is that his replacement will bring a breath of fresh air back into the Tory Party for the electorate, remember, they showed in supporting the blues at the last general election.

And to be fair, the opposition do not have a clue, just watch this vid, oh and just look who is on the front bench in the intro, classic....????
