The pregnant woman he robbed sticking a gun in her belly the best known, but a string of other offences, overdosed the week before his suicide by cop, decides to pass fake notes while out of his head when probably on the way to the morgue anyway.

Floyd was served 4 years in prison for his offenses.

According to the Washington Post’s database, polics killed  14 unarmed Black victims and 25 unarmed white victims in 2019.  The number of unarmed Black shooting victims is down 63% from 2015, when the database began. There are about 7,300 Black homicide victims a year. The 14 unarmed victims in fatal police shootings would comprise only 0.2% of that total.

But BLM are campaigning against police killing Black people.

 

In the context of that campaign the only data that matters is how many Black people the police kill.

 

Also note, it wasn’t until The Guardian newspaper and the BLM movement campaigns that US police forces started systematically recording the race of people killed by the police.
