Please suggest an Android repair shop. Also - LG store still exist here?

Please recommend an Android repair shop, preferably with enough English to communicate.

Woke up, phone is totally dead.

No response at all to several batteries, worked fine when I turned it off last night.

Old phone, but want to see if it can be restarted to save info etc.

Not just a boot problem - plugging in charging cable (tried several), screen should acknowledge charging cable plus vibrate but zero response - screen remains totally black, no vibrate response,  as if totally bricked.

A few years ago I went to an LG store in CM.

Chaingmailocator.com lists "LG Electronics Service Center & Northern Sales Office":

Address
89/4-7, Bamrungburi Road, Mueang Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai, 50100, Thailand
Phone
053 283 888

Does this store still exist?
I am not able to call out..

Also Google Maps not responding to Lg store and doesn't recognize the address.

Does not even recognize the Street name, so I can't go there and see if it exists anymore.

Thank you!

Another site lists it as:

89 47-7 Thanon Bumrung Buri, ตำบล พระสิงห์ Amphoe Mueang Chiang Mai, Chang Wat Chiang Mai 50200, Thailand
Coordinate : 18.7815894, 98.9860476
Phone :

+66 53 283 888

Maps recognizes the street but 89 47-7 doesn't seem to make sense - probably means 89 4-7.

So if I want to explore, I guess heading for

89 Thanon Bumrung Buri would be the way to go?

A very misleading question. Android is software that belongs to Google and as it is open source code it is tailored by the android phone manufacturers to suit their product.

What you want is a service centre for your type of phone.

My wife had a phone with similar symptoms, I replaced the battery, the glued in type. When I  made the second battery connection, the connection became red hot from a rapid battery discharge. Must have been an internal short.

Have you checked if the batteries you have tried are discharged or not?

Yes, the batteries are fine.

I also asked about the LG store.

If it no longer exists  - which I believe is the case since Google Maps doesn't recognize "LG store" etc. -  I need a generic Android repair shop and/or store that sells Androids and does repairs that can take a look at it.

Use Skype or any of the numerous similar services on your computer.  Borrow your neighbor's phone for 2 minutes.

Don't know about LG phone but on Samsung there is a button press and hold sequence to recover from black screen though it didn't fire up my S7 as the main board was fried ????

There's a generic "Hold Power Button and Volume Up or Volume Down simultaneously", but no result.

Have you tried searching "phone repair Chiang Mai", I did and found the answer to your question.  If you're wanting a specific recommendation for an LG repair I wouldn't hold my breath.

Thanon Bumrung Buri is correct, south side of the moat near Pratuu Chang Mai market.  I went there a few weeks ago, don't know if they do mobile phones, or not.

The LG store was no help - seems they are not dealing with phones any longer.

Does anyone have an Android repair shop they recommend?

You will find a multitude of them in any Tukcom.

Like many things it is a case of pay your money and take your chance, what works for one is never a guarantee.

Apologies, I should have said "IT City".

Around here what were "IT City" were rebranded as Tukcom.
