It is with great sadness that i have to tell you all that  Wilai (Iain Walsh) passed away today. He leaves behind a loving Wife and Son.  Iain had been ill for several year,s though you would never have known that from his post,s and work he did for our Footy Forum.

He will be missed by many. Rip my Friend.

Completely shocked. We had our moments on the forum but I always had complete respect for the guy, and like to think he recognised that. Very sad.

RIP Iain

My sidekick, I'm speechless

We chatted privately for a few years, he endured a fair bit of pain the last couple of those years. As Keith will attest he was a keen and good golfer before he took ill, shame we didn't get to share a round together.

He was one of the good guys, quick witted, clever, respectful and funny. He knew his football well, always thereabouts in fantasy football. I will miss him.

Rest In Peace friend, I will keep up our offensive on the Mancs!

I've just heard this news from our mutual friend rott, wjo asked me to pass on his sincere condolences to his wife and family.

Really saddened to hear this news as had been chatting and enjoying sharing our footy opinions on here and by PM for a number of years.

No matter the score or how low the dig he was always a gentleman...and he will be sorely missed by all of us.

You better had bud ????

Only just read this, very sad.

I met him when he moved over here, and purchased a house here in Khon Kaen.

We were both from the same area of Liverpool, and, although we had never met before, it turned out that a lot of people I knew over there, Iain knew them too.

When he moved away, we kept in touch via this forum, and met up when he occasionally returned here.

Shocked to hear the news, not been on the forum for a while.   He knew his football and was always kind and funny to chat with.   Rest in Peace.
