Alcohol doesnt make the flavour

Not per se but flavour can increase in line with alcohol content due to the increased amount of fermentable sugars needed.

That’s the proper way to consume beer—by the glass.  You see the head, and can take in the aroma prior to drinking.  As for storage containers, aluminum cans completely shut out UV light, keeping the beer fresher..  Glass bottles not as good at this.  Of course both bottles and cans have their advantages and drawbacks.

In the fridge the beer cools down faster in cans than bottles.

But I guess conversely, it warms up faster, so get it down yer neck!   555

Funny thing is about beer, if you drink enough of it it tastes ok in the end.

Only people having lived and worked in Nigeria

( star Larger ) will understand this post.

Leo is ok.

There are a lot of nice diseases you can get from drinking right out of the bottle/can.

Hantavirus disease

Leptospirosis

Remember a my mate Nate type taking the pee out of me years ago when I lived at the Parkland Bang na for drinking beer out of a can with a straw. Two weeks later he was in the hospital with a serious gut infection, street food muck of the shellfish variety ????

Leo beer has BIG bubbles.

The German beers I like have small bubbles.

Why?

Ya daft <deleted>, just had a Leo Galaxy and Yellow Sub and no bubbles. Good beer unlike the usual Thai rubbish.

Bubbles is what adds flavor and mouth feel to beer, which is wonderful.

BIG bubbles ...Bad

TINY bubbles....Good.

Next time you have a great beer, pour it in a glass, and see the tiny bubbles.

Otherwise, pour a poor beer in a glass, and notice the huge bubbles.

What causes the difference in size of bubbles in a beer of higher quality vs a beer of lower quality?

BEER is all about BUBBLES, my friend.

More nitrogen and less carbon dioxide produces smaller bubbles in beer.

Sometimes, on this good forum, I feel as if I am writing to swillers of cheap beer, such as the beer, Olde Frothingslosh.

Are you guys no more than swillers of beer, like Tom Jones?

Have you people no class, at all?

I tell you, truly the smaller the bubbles, then the better the mouth feel.  And, it is not easy to get small bubbles, either.

Leo Beer has huge bubbles.

It ups to you if you like huge.

But, for refined people of taste and means, the larger the bubbles, the poorer the experience.

Same thing with big bbbooobbbs, in my opinion.

It is always the ladies with smaller ones that are superior.

Take Mia Farrow, for instance.

So, if you really want to know about small bubbles,

There are many articles floating around on the internet.

Here is one, out of many, for example...

https://www.goodbeerhunting.com/blog/2019/1/28/tiny-bubbles-how-nitrogenation-changed-beer-forever

Maybe most of you know not much about bubbles or teets?

You are absolutely correct.

Are you a beer chemist?

Some cheaper fruit beers are just beer-flavoured soda but if you buy something like a Kriek Lambic (cherry) it's pure nectar.

Bought this on Saturday in my local family mart, both me and my TGF enjoyed it. (I had already some drinks before trying)

Can't be moved from Singha due the logo. I'm all about the logo.

Because to a person like myself who might drink 12 beers in a year, they are all indistinguishable (except for Guiness).

Note to Beer Lao fans (which def has the best logo), The Beer Lao brewery in Vientiane has a gift shop. I have a Beer Lao cafe umbrella that I shlepped home. It was $25.

Beer Lao Brown is not far off Newcastle brown aie, referred to as Newkie-Brown when I lived in England.

In which years did you drink the aforementioned beers in order to compare them?   555

Never hear of Beer Leo as the OP title states but then yes I have heard and drink Beer Lao, so I assumed it was a mistake, but the horror when you posted telling me I was wrong.....

Had a bracingly cold can of Singha from 7/11 two days ago. But I didn't finish it.

Beer Lao has a whole range of decent flavors avail in Vientiane and I recco them all. Check their website. I'm only about 18 months into my new booze-ultralite life phase.

Had a lychee martini at the airport hotel (lifestyle advice: never order a lychee martini outside of a 5* restaurant).

That and 3/4's of a Singha has been it for my 17 days here. I even passed on a glass of S.African red box wine with a plate of Bolognaise in a Nimman very good Italian place.

It's just too damn hot to drink here, even if I wanted to.

Real men chug a lug straight from the bottle. The glass is for the babe sitting with the man.

About 15 or so years ago a friend of mind got Weils disease. He always drunk from a beer bottle. Although they couldn't be 100% certain, the docs reckoned it must have come from Rats peeing on the beer boxes whilst in storage. I've never drunk straight from a bottle or can since

I read up on that subject a few years back and its the cans that most likely carry the disease. Bottles are better protected.

According to this Facebook post from several months ago:

"LEO Columbus hops are imported from USA, and have a strong bitterness and a slight citrus scent.

"LEO Yellow Sub hops are imported from Europe, with the scent of tropical fruits, oranges, apricots, and blackberries predominating.

"LEO Galaxy hops are imported from Australia and have the aroma of sour fruits, fresh and juicy"

Yes, the fruit flavour should come from the hops.
