Seems to work both ways.... Thais have a habit of not getting involved in some circumstances. Walking Street is a feral atmosphere.

Nonsense! That's two different situations .Thais have the it's 'none of my business" when someone is in distress. Don't know what place you come from. ...Cambodia ?
