Two Russian lawmakers this week pushed the absurd conspiracy theory that Ukrainians were being turned into "cruel and deadly monsters" in the country's bio labs.

There may be a tiny morsel of truth in what is otherwise nonsense, when they claim the Ukrainians are getting drugs.

The sad facts are that China & India are buying Russian oil at increased quantities and the revenue  aiding the purchase of weaponry for Russia . The supply of arms to Ukraine from the western countries was made with a stipulation that the weapons would not be used to invade Russia , only in Ukraine's defence of their country . If used to invade Russia using donated western arms , that would implicate the west which could have serious implications . 

Interesting times ahead . Putin has not been invited to Queen Elisabeth's funeral however both India and China leaders have but have not confirmed attendance . Also China's leader is making a visit to meet Putin in Uzbekistan at a trade conference , ( SCO ) Shanghai Cooperation Organisation which the Kremlin have stated they will initially be discussing the Ukraine war

It's moot whether Crimea can be regarded as part of Russia, as it was invaded and annexed by Russia in 2014. The annexation AFAIK has never been internationally ratified. No doubt Zelensky would be asking the stipulation on arms to not apply there.

 

Putin is not going anywhere except friendly countries, IMO he would risk being arrested as a war criminal if he did.

How sweet it must be, as a Russian in Crimea eligible to be conscripted.

The military commanders are leaving, presumably you will get a new general from Moscow who knows nothing of local conditions, and whose only skill is kissing Putin's backside.

Said general will then send you into battle untrained, with inferior equipment, and most likely your supply lines cut off. With General Winter at the front into the bargain.

It would be smarter to defect to the Ukrainians.

Your going down the Rabbit hole my friend.  Stick to the war and how the special operation is not a special operation but an attempt to cleanse the Ukraine and restore the former USSR to it's former glory by seizing the Ukraine and you may survive.

Zelensky is a democratically elected leader, who came to power after a popular revolution booted Putin's puppet out. Putin has progressively shut down dissent and independent media, along with  poisoning opponents. Energy oligarchs in Russia appear to be awfully accident-prone at present. I am not disagreeing with you, IMO drug use should be decriminalized.

You are correct in stating the adulteration of pure drugs with other substances for profit is a major problem.

Prohibition did not work with alcohol, which if anything is a worse drug than many of the illegal ones.
