actually in my first years in thailand i enjoyed some gogo bars. but really it was for a short time. i relize its not fun at all.

local thai bars are better and more fun. just sitting with a really nice PR is so nice.

the main idea here is you need to remember one thing: they are doing their job. and we all know whats the job. getting your money as much as they can. and trust me most of them dont even enjoy talking to you. another thing is if you are planning to going out for a drink where you are sure ladies are, it means you know and you must be ready to spend money. thai ladies dont like cheap charlies. 

 

my plan is simple: go to the place you want to go, sit with 1 PR buy her a lady drink and some food for dinner this is probably 1500-2000 baht night. then touch her legs or hold hand, etc. thats it. no more. because if you want to or try to take them home it will end up she is asking money from you for everything. pay my room, buy me this dress, ohh i want to do my nails, etc. thats how they live. a very lazy PR can make 30.000 easy in a month just from lady drinks and tips. a good one can make 50K. i know this very well. 

 

plus i really dont like to take home bar girls. i accept some of them are like WOW dream girls.. but still i dont like to drink the same soup 100000 people drinking.

well PR (sometimes they also say pretty) is the lady who will sit with you if you want. you can choose from many of them at the local thai bar&restaurant you want to sit. one restaurant probably have 20 of them. and live music too.

there are some types of these ladies:

1) you pay 300-500 baht per hour to sit and drink with you. you can mostly do whatever you want with her. She will sit with you, talk with you, you can touch her, she will eat food, drink as much as she can. Plus you need to buy them lady drink because that 300-500 baht goes to the company they work for not the lady. This type is the one i really dont like. because the money you pay is so stupid and i really dont understand why thai people are ok with this. No need to mention you will see BMW and Mercedes cars in front of these restaurants. 

2) these ones are the same. but you have to buy lady drink for them to keep them with you. again this will cost you around 300-500 per 2-3 hours. This one is little bit better because at least you can have more time.

3) this one is the best. these ladies are again almost same with others. but they sit with you no need to pay anything... well, some food they will order and never eat and drinks of course. but this one is cheaper. and actually they are more fun to sit and talk and do other things. as you can imagine lot of from Laos and Vietnam, cambodia.. 

 

you can be their friends if you want. can add their line id. but as i mentioned before the first thing they will start to ask is money. I dont mean money for s ex. i mean like pay their room rent, some dress, new nails, etc. so thats why im also staying away from this.

 

my plan is: go to the place, sit with a PR for 2-3 hours enjoy the night and go back home safe. i would never ever go to home with a lady from the bar. the reason is STD.

You can protect yourself against STD - mostly. And you can also get STD from other girls. So, the only way to be sure not to get STD is not sex, ever, with anybody...

Not so much in bars anymore, and if so, to be left alone and have my drink in peace and quiet to observe people on the street or in the bar. If a nice lady want to share some time, I buy her a few drinks, and nothing more.

yes, you can protect yourself from STD with condom (which is the best way) but not 100% as you mentioned too... you can get STD from many things. and yes, you can get STD from other girls too. but which one has the highest risk.

I was last night in NANA. I was in that place the first time almost 30 years ago, and apart for Covid I visited NANA regularly for the last 25 years or so.

Is it still the same? In principle yes. Girls on stage in bikinis with numbers, pick what you want, buy them a drink or two, and if you want more do the arrangements.

20 years ago, they had slimmer girls and, as far as I remember, most at least tried to dance. I think in average they were less professional, and many looked for a long-time bf or sponsor. On the other side, a long time ago it was not unusual to hear: My mouth is only for eating...
