You were right 🤪 Rose to 44.1 yesterday but by the time I'd had my morning coffees and checked, it had gone down to 43.8. Woke up about an hour ago as couldn't sleep so thought I'd take a peek. Nailed it at 44.2 or almost a cool 22k THB 😂 -

Accident Man Electrocuted While Repairing Roof in Nakhon Phanom
Picture courtesy of Kaoded. A 67-year-old man lost his life after being electrocuted while repairing the roof of his home in That Phanom district, Nakhon Phanom province. Emergency services were alerted at 13:40 on 13 May, via the 191 emergency hotline to a report of a man electrocuted on the roof of a house in Village 13, That Phanom sub-district. Officers from That Phanom Police Station, led by Pol. Lt. Amarin Prameanchai, deputy inspector for prevention and suppression, along with a patrol unit, were immediately dispatched to the scene. The victim was identified as Mr. Wirat Maneerat, aged 67, who was found severely injured from an electric shock. According to initial reports, he had been attempting to replace corrugated roofing sheets on his home when the accident occurred. It is believed that while working on the roof, situated dangerously close to high-voltage power lines, he either came into direct contact with or got too close to the lines, resulting in a fatal electric shock. Family members at the scene quickly called for emergency medical assistance, but despite their best efforts, Mr. Wirat succumbed to his injuries before he could be transported to hospital. His relatives, while deeply saddened, have stated they do not suspect foul play and will proceed with traditional funeral rites. Adapted by Asean Now from Kaoded 2025-05-14.
