death figures that even the experts themselves admit are inaccurate

On the low side... That's why entities like the WHO and others have come along with their projections, based on excess mortality, of the real numbers, which are almost 3 times higher than the official ones.

  • It seems like every country is fully opening on October 1st. The virus suddenly stopped being a virus

It did not stop being a virus, it just stopped being a virus of concern.  Big difference, but then you have always believed it was a bogus virus.

It's more that the virus is weaker and the resistance to it is higher.  When things closed it was a very strong virus and there was low resistance to it.  As the pendulum has swung, so the measures ha

inaccurate is inaccurate and projections have been wrong time and time again  I'll reiterate I am just not interested anymore

Several off-topic posts have been removed, along with an on-topic post that mischaracterized the findings of the study it cited.

Yet her 70 year old son died of covid two weeks prior if you read further in the article. This article proves nothing. Singular cases prove nothing as with the Queen who caught covid in Feb this year and survived. She also had been vaccinated

It was a SUSPECTED covid infection according to another member and according to the kink you provided yourself  you really should have read it  so he could have died from anything couldn't he

Its not difficult to confirm a dose of covid but they didn't so it wasn't

Same with the other guy. Read up on diet and immune system. 2022 no excuse not to know this stuff. It's on your screen.

What relevance to that does your article relate to? A 90+ year old surviving and her 70 year old son dying? No mention of whether either was vaccinated also?

I didn't provide any links what are you talking about?

Several 95yos got it and survived which means it wasnt that bad.

In 2020 there was no vaccine so you can figure that bit out.

And another thing !  what's with the TV presenters ?  they stopped wearing masks and then they started again Convicted felon and would be orange farmer Sorayuth on CH 7  being a good example Now some do and some don't  I doubt it is down to their personal choice so what's going on there.?   And what possible purpose do those ridiculous perspex visors supposedly serve,

they are "strongly suggested"  to wear them   ????

The less funding the WHO has, the better. Nobody will forget their tweet from Jan 2020 ...

Yes of course several 95 year olds got it, but your link does not even say if they were vaccinated or not, what strain it was or any info whatsoever

Look at the date on first link. 2020 no vaccine then.

Ok no vaccine available correct, so that still brings us to in your words "several 90+ year olds surviving" I really don't see the relevance to anything as several under 90 + did not survive. What kind of logic are you using? Why not try some actual data rather than singular events from newspaper clippings, plenty of data around

I wonder for what reason, surely not a medical one?

Adults with excess weight are at even greater risk during the COVID-19 pandemic:

Count the diseases. Then look at diet links to diseases. Join the dots.

A good article. Like their advice: wear face masks and get fully vaccinated.

"If you have a weakened immune system or have a higher risk of serious illness, wear a mask that provides you with the most protection possible when you're in an area with a high number of people with COVID-19 in the hospital and new COVID-19 cases.

...

An additional dose of a COVID-19 vaccine is recommended for people who are vaccinated and might not have had a strong enough immune response.

In contrast, a booster dose is recommended for people who are vaccinated and whose immune response weakened over time. This includes many people with health conditions that cause them to have a higher risk of serious illness.

People who have a moderately or severely weakened immune system should get an additional primary shot and a booster shot."

They should change their diet

Still not seeing your point? Where did I say heart disease cannot be linked to diet in some circumstances, we all know deaths are greatest in those with certain conditions.

Some underlying illnesses that put you at higher risk, this does not include all:

Solid organ or blood stem cell transplant

Sickle cell disease or thalassemia

Pregnancy

Cancer

Chronic liver disease

Asthma

Cystic fibrosis

Dementia

Diabetes

People with any type of disability that makes it more difficult to do certain activities or interact with the world around them, including people who need help with self-care or daily activities

People with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)

People with cerebral palsy

People with birth defects

People with intellectual and developmental disabilities

People with learning disabilities

People with spinal cord injuries

People with Down syndrome

Heart conditions

Immunocompromised condition or weakened immune system

Mental health conditions

Overweight and obesity

Tuberculosis

That too... But not instead of, or as a replacement for, their other primary recommendations. The key points message of the article are clear.

From their list, in their order of priority by mention:

"There are many steps you can take to reduce your risk of infection from the COVID-19 virus and reduce the risk of spreading it to others. The World Health Organization (WHO) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommend following these precautions for avoiding COVID-19:

  • Get vaccinated. COVID-19 vaccines reduce the risk of getting and spreading COVID-19.
  • Avoid close contact with others. Avoid anyone who is sick.
  • Keep distance between yourself and others if COVID-19 when you're in indoor public spaces if you're not fully vaccinated. This is especially important if you have a higher risk of serious illness."

etc etc etc....

Im not anti vaccine. Just pointing out people shouldnt rely on drugs. Far better ways to live a good life.

People should not rely only on diet either. Vaccines play a key role in reducing large scale outbreaks and deaths. Why else do all children receive vaccinations for viral infections such as smallpox, mumps, polio.

The covid vaccines saved millions of lives not just those with underlying diseases.

Vaccines are a drug, and a proven one for greatly reducing the risk of serious illness and death from COVID, as opposed to eating more broccoli and taking supplements.

So your comment pretty well comes off as being anti-vaccine, e.g. "Just pointing out people shouldnt rely on drugs."

Those who received the magnesium plus vitamin D and B12 had an 87% lower risk for requiring oxygen therapy and an 85% lower risk for needing intensive care support.
